Our client is a leading large multinational corporation which has been named by HR Asia as one of Asia’s Best Companies to Work For.  It is now seeking to hire an Investigator for its Shenzhen office.  

 

The position will best suit Corporate Investigators or Compliance Managers who previously worked in the HKPF, ICAC or MPS.  The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and conducting internal investigations of alleged or suspected violations of criminal law and corporate policies, including theft, fraud, embezzlement, conflict of interest, and records falsification.  Additionally, he/she will be conducting interviews, preparing investigative reports and communicating findings to senior management, as well as supporting the development and implementation of remedial and disciplinary actions.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or the equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in fraud/forensic investigation.  Candidates with prior experience gained from the Hong Kong Police Force, Ministry of Public Security of the PRC or ICAC would have advantage.  Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Chinese are required and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and experience with data mining software is preferred.
