Job description

About the Role:

  • Guide market planners in creating and maintaining merchandise financial plans across product categories to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Oversee monthly rolling forecasts, seasonal plans, and long-range strategies to meet regional sales targets.
  • Develop OTB plans that align with inventory levels, sell-through rates, and weeks-of-supply goals.
  • Assess inventory health and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and turnover.
  • Partner with merchandisers and country buyers to develop seasonal category plans that align with merchandise goals.
  • Consolidate OTB and category plans to provide feedback for regional range preparation.
  • Ensure category strategies balance innovation (strategic risk-taking) and volume-driving initiatives.
  • Carryover item planning for market-specific styles.
  • Evaluate purchase forecasts with country planners to align investments with OTB and category plans. Monitor key merchandising KPIs (e.g., efficiency, adoption rate, segmentation) and recommend improvements.
  • Assist markets in end-of-season reviews, assessing sell-through performance to identify future risks and opportunities.
  • Deliver regular reports and insights by analyzing sales, inventory, purchases, and sell-through data to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with system planners to improve reporting tools, including retail analytics and master data for regional meetings.


About the Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in planning, preferably within the APAC region.
  • Strong expertise in merchandise financial planning (OTB, forecasting, inventory optimization).
  • Proven ability to develop strategic category plans that align with business goals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills for cross-functional and leadership engagement.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and BI tools.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
