Job description
Our client is a highly regarded and internationally recognized financial services group with a strong presence in the industry. They are now actively looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing finance and accounting functions, ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Develop and execute financial strategies, analysing performance and providing insights.
Act as a strategic business partner, collaborating with various business units and offering financial advice to support decision-making processes.
Identify and mitigate financial risks, while monitoring internal controls to maintain a robust risk management framework.
Optimize working capital and manage cash flow effectively, overseeing treasury operations and implementing efficient cash management practices.
Provide guidance and support to business unit finance teams on complex accounting issues, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Assist senior management in strategic initiatives such as investments, fundraisings, mergers and acquisitions, and financial due diligence, providing financial expertise and analysis.
Contribute to the group's tax planning and compliance efforts, working closely with tax advisors and ensuring adherence to relevant tax regulations.
Continuously review and enhance the efficiency of financial reporting processes, implementing best practices and automation tools where applicable.
Ensure adherence to corporate policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements, maintaining a strong control environment and promoting a culture of integrity and compliance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Qualified Accountant with relevant certification.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in banking/financial services, or from large-scale commercial group
Big 4 background with solid knowledge of accounting standard
China GAAP knowledge is preferred
Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
