Job description
About The Role:
Our client is a globally recognized leader in the design and development of high-performance, power-efficient system-on-chip (SoC) solutions. The System Application Manager will be responsible for the R&D of high-speed interfaces and smart sensor chips. The role needs to be covering two core fields: Electronics and Smart Automotive, covering high-speed display interfaces such as MIPI, LVDS, and eDP.
What You Will Do:
- Lead system-level application solution design for high-speed display interface (eDP/DisplayPort) chips in consumer electronics and smart automotive scenarios.
- Focus on flagship smartphone external display and VR/AR high-definition projection solutions in the consumer sector.
- In the automotive sector, prioritize breakthroughs in smart cockpit multi-screen interconnect solutions (e.g., central control screen + co-pilot entertainment screen + rear-seat displays), meeting automotive-grade and EMC electromagnetic compatibility requirements.
- Ensure chip compatibility and support for various protocols.
- Provide technical support to clients.
What You Need To Be Successful
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Science and Technology, Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering, Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics, or related majors. A Master's degree is preferred. Candidates with a background in automotive electronic chip R&D are preferred.
- Solid foundational knowledge in chip design, familiarity with the full chip R&D process (architecture design, front-end design, back-end design, tape-out, verification). Proficiency in semiconductor device physics, analog circuits, and digital circuit principles. Knowledge of automotive-grade chip design standards (AEC-Q100) is preferred.
- Over 5 years of relevant work experience with MIPI/LVDS/eDP/DP chips. Must have participated in at least one mass production project for a consumer-grade eDP chip. Experience in R&D or verification of automotive-grade display interface chips is preferred.
- Familiar with consumer electronics (mobile phones / VR / displays) or smart automotive (cockpit displays) application scenarios. Experience with high-speed interface chips is preferred. Understanding of the automotive-grade chip certification process is preferred.
- Proficient in MIPI and eDP protocols, with a deep understanding of their physical layer, protocol layer, and application layer specifications. Ability to independently analyze protocol compatibility issues in consumer/automotive scenarios.
