VP, Security Governance and Risk Management

Job description

​My client is a leading international bank with extensive footprints across the world. They’re well-known for professional services, flexible working culture, supportive working environment and promising career path. They are looking for an experienced Security Governance candidate to manage IT Risk to support the Group office to align with Group’s security governance framework and security policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Bank’s security governance framework including the central repository of security policies, processes and guidelines

• Provide the security risk and service effectiveness metrics and dashboards including developing key insights and tracking follow up actions.

• Ensure the Bank’s security posture is managed effectively and efficiently in-line with surveillance of industry benchmarks

• Conduct security governance related topics at various management and risk governance forums and maintain the security policy exception and violation process

• Work closely with auditors and other IT teams and provide inputs to the Bank’s information and cyber security strategy, roadmap and awareness initiatives

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering/Computer Science / IT/Cyber Security with qualification (e.g. CISM, CISA, CRISC.)

• Knowledge of industry best practices eg. ISO 27001, NIST, MAS TRM

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in security policy and process development, security governance and risk management disciplines

• Knowledge of the security threat landscape and various security technologies and analytical mindset in approaching situations and interactions with stakeholders
