Job description
Our client is a highly regarded and internationally recognized bank with a strong presence in the financial industry. They are now actively looking to hire an Assistant Accounting Manager who will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Support the timely and accurate execution of accounting transactions, including payments and claims, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records through effective bank reconciliation activities.
Prepare financial and regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.
Assist in the month-end/year-end closing processes, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
Provide financial data and analysis to contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Collaborate with the tax department to assist in the preparation of tax filings.
Support other accounting and finance functions, such as financial analysis, internal control assessment, and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the banking industry.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and financial software applications.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
