Our client is a prestigious and prominent foreign corporate bank operating in Hong Kong. With a strong market presence and a significant footprint in the region, they are recognized as a leader in their field.
Take the lead in enhancing the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and overseeing drills and reviews associated with it.
Organize and chair regular meetings focused on Business Continuity Management.
Ensure that daily operational processes and the overall risk framework adhere to the guidelines set by HKMA and HKICL.
Develop strategies to address potential system failures and assess risks within operational processes.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, while also providing regular reports on BCP and operational resilience to local authorities and headquarters.
Participate actively in IT, system, and operational projects to support and reinforce BCP and operational resilience efforts.
Possession of a Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in business continuity planning or operational resilience, preferably within a corporate banking setting.
A solid understanding of corporate and commercial banking operations and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in BCP management techniques and methodologies.
Experience in complying with regulatory requirements related to operational resilience, such as SPM OR-1, OR-2, TM-G-2, would be advantageous.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
