Job description

My client is seeking for a Director -Business development & Engineering to join their team

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development & Strategy
• Develop and execute growth strategies for engineering and facilities management services.
• Identify new business opportunities, prepare proposals, and lead tender submissions.
• Build long-term relationships with government bodies, developers, and corporate clients.
• Engineering & Operations Management
• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams to deliver high‑quality services across city facilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and performance standards.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for building systems, E&M facilities, and infrastructure assets.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Management
• Provide strategic direction to operational teams and project managers.
• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, workflow optimization, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct client presentations, contract negotiations, and performance reviews.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, or related disciplines.
• 10-15+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Strong track record in business development and large-scale facilities / engineering project management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to handle high-pressure environments and drive operational excellence.
