Job description
My Client is a Leading Food & Beverage Manufacturer Seeking a Factory Manager Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of production supervisors, quality control inspectors, maintenance technicians, and other factory staff
- Develop and implement production schedules, workflows, and resource plans to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets
- Monitor production activities, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure strict compliance with local and export food safety regulations, quality control protocols, and environmental/sustainability standards
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment to maximize uptime and extend equipment lifespan
- Supervise and participate in new product development, including recipe formulation, process optimization, and trial production; ensure improvement plans align with quality, cost, and production goals
- Collaborate with the procurement team to manage inventory, raw material ordering, and logistics
- Report production metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and overall performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas for process enhancement and cost reduction
- Implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence within the factory workforce
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in food/beverage manufacturing, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, quality management systems (HACCP, GMP, ISO), and process improvement methodologies
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficient in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written)
- Familiarity with relevant food safety regulations and environmental compliance standards
