Job description

My Client is a Leading Food & Beverage Manufacturer Seeking a Factory Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of production supervisors, quality control inspectors, maintenance technicians, and other factory staff
  • Develop and implement production schedules, workflows, and resource plans to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets
  • Monitor production activities, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency and reduce waste
  • Ensure strict compliance with local and export food safety regulations, quality control protocols, and environmental/sustainability standards
  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment to maximize uptime and extend equipment lifespan
  • Supervise and participate in new product development, including recipe formulation, process optimization, and trial production; ensure improvement plans align with quality, cost, and production goals
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to manage inventory, raw material ordering, and logistics
  • Report production metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and overall performance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas for process enhancement and cost reduction
  • Implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence within the factory workforce


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience in food/beverage manufacturing, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, quality management systems (HACCP, GMP, ISO), and process improvement methodologies
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written)
  • Familiarity with relevant food safety regulations and environmental compliance standards
