Head of Data Science & Analytics

Job description

I am looking for a strategic leader to serve as Head of Data Science & Analytics for my client, a leading bank. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with business and support units, in scoping and solutioning business needs by identifying and prioritizing problems suited for analytics and setting expectations for feasibility and impact to the business
• Translate business problems / opportunities into tangible analytics requirements
• Work with data scientists, data analysts and matrixed partners to identify the business data needed to produce the most useful insights to the team
• Develop project plans and deliverables for data and analytics teams to execute on to support the business and operation needs
• Manage end to end solution delivery (including analytics development, test and deployment) working with data scientists, analysts and key business stakeholders
• Provide leadership in application of analytics and machine learning related technologies to solve business problems

Key Requirements:                                          

• Experience with driving large-scale data driven transformation projects
