Head of Design

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Spearhead the design strategies and visions for all projects and disciplines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and resource allocation with both internal and external stakeholders
• Manage all design deliverables and progress in timely and effective manner
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in project development
• Fully conversant with projects' strategic planning functions and detailed works scheduling to identify the project pipeline

QUALIFICATIONS

• Tertiary educated in Interior Design, Architecture or related disciplines
• At least 15 years of progressive design experiences with proven track record preferably in a senior leadership role within a global design, architecture, or consultancy firm
• High proficiency in strategic planning and problem solving abilities
• A resilient leader with strong leadership qualities, exceptional communication skills and people management capabilities
• Expertise in the latest digital design methodologies and tools
• Results driven, self-initiative and excellent business acumen
