Job description
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute footwear sourcing strategy aligned with company objectives and market trends.
Identify and select reliable suppliers, negotiating favorable terms for competitive pricing and quality.
Collaborate with design teams, ensuring footwear products meet customer preferences and market trends.
Implement cost-effective sourcing strategies, evaluating pricing and contractual agreements.
Establish quality control measures, conduct factory visits to ensure compliance with standards.
Optimize supply chain, collaborate with logistics and inventory management for efficient product flow.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, stay updated on trade regulations and geopolitical factors.
Lead and manage a team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
8+ years of experience in footwear sourcing, preferably in fashion or retail leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of global footwear sourcing markets, pricing dynamics, and industry trends.
Proven track record in developing strategies, optimizing costs, and managing supplier relationships.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of footwear quality control processes and standards.
Familiarity with supply chain management principles and data analysis.
