Job description
About the Role:
- Proactively monitor and follow up on delayed orders using real-time reporting tools to ensure on-time delivery.
- Collaborate closely with factories to confirm shipment timelines and swiftly resolve booking and documentation issues.
- Review and approve shipping instructions while coordinating vendor bookings for smooth logistics execution.
- Oversee key system activities, including shipment notifications and electronic documentation, to ensure data integrity.
- Manage purchase order confirmations and efficiently handle updates related to shortages, amendments, or shipping modes.
- Generate and share accurate, insightful reports on delivery performance and key supply chain metrics.
- Maintain a detailed log of vendor-related issues, including shortages and compliance breaches, to drive accountability.
- Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and operational standards.
- Act as the first line of support for factory concerns, resolving issues and escalating non-compliance when necessary.
- Lead vendor engagement through regular meetings, performance reviews, and tailored training sessions to drive continuous improvement.
About the Candidate:
- Completed secondary education or similar certification
- Experience in handling orders or client support
- Careful and precise with tasks and data
- Good at communicating clearly with customers in writing and speaking
- Can handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office tools
- Familiarity with systems like SAP is a bonus
- Recent graduates with a business degree are encouraged to apply
