About the Role:

  • Wholesale Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive wholesale strategy aligned with the overall business objectives. Identify new wholesale opportunities, evaluate market trends, and recommend strategies to maximize sales and profitability.

  • Wholesale Partner Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners, including retailers, distributors, and other relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with partners to negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through effective wholesale management. Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities to increase sales volume and market share. Develop pricing strategies, promotional programs, and incentives to stimulate wholesale sales.

  • Product Assortment and Inventory Planning: Collaborate with the merchandising team to develop and manage the wholesale product assortment. Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to determine optimal inventory levels, product mix, and SKU assortment.

  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of wholesale account managers and support staff. Set performance goals, provide coaching and mentoring, and ensure the team is equipped with the necessary resources to achieve targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and monitor performance against targets. Generate regular reports and present insights to senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Market Analysis and Competitor Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify potential threats and opportunities, and make recommendations to enhance the wholesale business.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, such as marketing, finance, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of wholesale strategies. Coordinate with internal teams to align marketing campaigns, resolve operational issues, and optimize supply chain processes.


About the Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field

  • Proven experience in wholesale management within the retail industry

  • Strong knowledge of wholesale operations, including pricing, contract negotiations, and sales strategies

  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth through effective wholesale management

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners

  • Proficiency in using sales and inventory management systems

  • Knowledge of market trends, competitor analysis, and industry best practices
