Senior Product Development Executive/Buyer and Marketing (Food/FMCG)

Job description

Our client is a relatively new Joint venture/ spin-off of one of the largest R&D/ pharmaceutical company. This company choose Hong Kong as their head office and  is focused on healthcare/ nutritional products.

• Source new products/ product development  (skincare, health supplements etc.)
• Coordinate and collaborate with manufacturers, mainly from China
• Follow up on regulatory requirements and licensing
• To research and source new territories for brand/products
• To research and analyze the latest market trends, identify market, customers and consumer needs for new product development and existing product improvement
• To manage new and existing products and their related packaging to ensure guidelines are followed and regulatory requirements in different countries are met, and existing products and related materials are up-to-date in terms of regulatory and brand guideline
• To monitor all aspects of products to ensure that products are launched within required timeframe and achieve the assigned objectives
• To coordinate, prepare and submit documents for license applications
• Proficient in Intellectual Property Rights and work with Legal Team on legal, compliance and contract signing.
• Assistant in product launches and  marketing campaigns

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Licensing, new Brand/Product Development is preferred
• Marketing background
• Out-going with strong communication and negotiation skills
• Able to work independently and a good team player
• Proficiency in Chinese and English
• Some travelling is required
