Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement annual trade marketing plans and budgets to achieve sales and distribution goals

  • Manage trade marketing campaigns and promotions, including designing merchandising materials, managing trade show participation, and coordinating co-op advertising programs

  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and optimize trade marketing strategy

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail and distributor partners

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align trade marketing activities with broader brand and consumer marketing initiatives

  • Monitor and report on trade marketing program performance, making recommendations to enhance effectiveness

  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and competitive activities to inform trade marketing approaches

  • Manage trade marketing vendors and agency relationships


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in trade marketing, sales, or marketing roles within the FMCG industry

  • Strong strategic planning and project management skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal

  • Proficient in data analysis to derive insights and make informed decisions

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing multi-tactic trade marketing campaigns

  • Ability to collaborate effectively cross-functionally and with external partners
