Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement annual trade marketing plans and budgets to achieve sales and distribution goals
Manage trade marketing campaigns and promotions, including designing merchandising materials, managing trade show participation, and coordinating co-op advertising programs
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and optimize trade marketing strategy
Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail and distributor partners
Collaborate cross-functionally to align trade marketing activities with broader brand and consumer marketing initiatives
Monitor and report on trade marketing program performance, making recommendations to enhance effectiveness
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and competitive activities to inform trade marketing approaches
Manage trade marketing vendors and agency relationships
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
5+ years of experience in trade marketing, sales, or marketing roles within the FMCG industry
Strong strategic planning and project management skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal
Proficient in data analysis to derive insights and make informed decisions
Demonstrated success in developing and executing multi-tactic trade marketing campaigns
Ability to collaborate effectively cross-functionally and with external partners
