Job description
Our client, a foreign corporate bank, is seeking a Treasury Sales AVP in Global Markets. The ideal candidate will have experience in FX and Rates sales, with strong connections to corporate clients.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Execute FX, Rates, and deposit transactions for corporate clients with precision and professionalism.
Drive business growth in FX and Rates across East Asia-primarily Hong Kong-by targeting local Blue Chip and Chinese corporates through strategic marketing and client pitching.
Ensure smooth execution of daily operations while continuously optimizing internal processes.
Partner with cross-functional teams to advance business initiatives and elevate client solutions.
Assess clients' hedging and investment needs, develop compelling pitch materials, and manage client communications independently.
Maintain a strong focus on operational efficiency and client relationship management through effective collaboration and clear communication.
Requirements
Solid understanding of FX and Rates products, market dynamics, and corporate clients' hedging requirements
Minimum of 5 years' experience in FX and Rates sales, with a strong network of corporate client relationships
Hands-on experience in FX and Rates dealing
Proficient in PowerPoint, with advanced skills in creating impactful pitch books and marketing materials
Familiarity with FX and Rates transaction workflows and processes
Knowledgeable in the documentation and contractual aspects of FX and Rates instrument
Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
