Job description
Our client is a prominent foreign bank seeking to hire a highly skilled AVP, Financial Planning and Analysis - Corporate and Institutional Banking to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining the bank's annual budget and forecast for the corporate and institutional banking segment, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
Collaborating closely with business units and senior management within the corporate and institutional banking division to provide financial insights and analysis that support decision-making processes.
Preparing comprehensive financial reports and presentations to effectively communicate financial performance and trends of the corporate and institutional banking segment to stakeholders.
Monitoring and reporting on key financial metrics such as revenue, expenses, and profitability within the corporate and institutional banking division, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable strategies.
Working closely with business units to identify process enhancement opportunities, streamline financial operations, and drive efficiency within the corporate and institutional banking segment.
Partnering with business units to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to corporate and institutional banking, providing valuable insights into the drivers of financial performance and identifying areas for optimization.
Requirements
A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Banking.
Professional qualifications such as CPA, HKIB, or equivalent.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within the banking industry, preferably within corporate and institutional banking.
Strong expertise in FP&A, particularly within the corporate and institutional banking sector.
Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
