Job description
Leading financial services company is seeking to hire a PE lawyer for its legal team based in Hong Kong. Reporting to the General Counsel, the successful candidate will primarily cover the Private Equity investment management business but will also be involved in other areas of the business from time-to-time.

The successful candidate will provide legal advice and support in relation to the structuring, due diligent and execution of different investment transactions particularly with respect to private equity. He/she will also advise on complex agreement structures, approval processes, and company policies and procedures etc.
The ideal candidate will be a Hong Kong qualified lawyer (lawyers qualified in other jurisdictions with relevant legal practicing experience in Hong Kong would also be considered) with at least 6 years of post qualification experience gained in the private equity/capital markets team of an international law firm or a well-known financial services company. in English and Chinese, including Mandarin is required for this position. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Associate Director.
