Leading global financial services company seeks an experienced lawyer for its Hong Kong office. This is an excellent opportunity for lawyers looking to continue to practice in, or wanting to get into, one of the hottest practice areas – regulatory and investigations.
Reporting to the Head of the Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations; guiding and advising different business units on the relevant investigatory and disciplinary processes; supervising outside counsel on related litigation matters as well as keeping the various business units apprised of new regulatory developments and new regulatory enforcement policies.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of relevant post qualification experience in Hong Kong. He/she must have experience in advising on investigations related matters, and must be proficient in spoken and written English and spoken Chinese. Experience in handling SFC enquiries/disciplinary proceeding would be advantageous.
